Associate Member Prerequisites

To become an Associate Member, you are required to participate in one of the programs below, in which you will:

• Learn how resilient community-based neighbourhoods can help you deal with life’s demands.
• Participate in and experience effective group processes and healthy communication.
• Explore pressures and support (e.g. economic, time, health, aging, family, etc.)
• Discover the interlocking relationship between ones quality of life and one’s neighbourhood life.
• Determine how to successfully achieve our common goals.
• Become empowered.

Associate Member Programs

OPTION 1:   6 WEEK IN-PERSON PROGRAM

• We are currently unable to offer this program virtually.

OPTION 2:   6 WEEK ON-LINE PROGRAM

Fundamentals of Community-Based Neighbourhoods

• A 6 week (2 hours per session) on-line program (Zoom platform)
• Session dates to be determined by consent with participants (minimum 10)

OPTION 3:   WEEKEND PROGRAM

Is Cohousing For You? (virtual edition)

• A weekend workshop (Friday evening social, Saturday and Sunday).
• $145 individual / $195 couple (refundable towards equity or associate membership)
